NX Filtration is the provider of innovative and sustainable direct nanofiltration membrane technology for pure and affordable water to improve the quality of life, for which it has been rewarded as “breakthrough technology company” in the water industry. In addition to its nanofiltration membrane technology, NX Filtration offers ultrafiltration products and a high-end microfiltration membrane product portfolio, specifically designed for the beer and wine filtration market.

The senior sales manager Food & Beverage is responsible for the market development of the NX Filtration beer and wine filtration product portfolio The role is focused on rapidly growing the business for this production portfolio in the global market. Route to market is via international OEM's (original equipment manufacturers). The goal is to create a market leader position in beer and wine filtration. 

How can you contribute?

The ideal candidate is an experienced deal-oriented sales manager with a successful track record of new sales, generating demand, and deal closures. The candidate will need to demonstrate the right competencies, growth mindset, and ability to build a customer network in the beer and wine filtration market. Further, the job includes the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Selects, develops and maintains strong relationships with international customers (OEM) and end-users as breweries
  • Prepares and submits proposals and quotations to customers
  • Ensures systematic follow-up of offers issued and records them in the CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Supports Engineers in communicating with customers during the delivery and implementation phases of a project
  • Team up with other departments within NX Filtration to ensure that product delivery and project realization is up to standards
  • Maintains and analyses sales statistics based on key quantitative data
  • Provides feedback on industry developments, customers, competitors and identifies trends and related requirements
  • Work with marketing and events to align with and drive sales strategy
  • Attends trade fairs and helps select and prepare samples and promotional materials
  • Host international visitors (representatives, accounts, distributors, etc.)

Job requirements

Who are you?

  • BSc. or MSc. in a commercial or technical field of study
  • At least 5-year work experience in a sales-driven role preferably in the F&B market
  • Experience in using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
  • Strong time management skills due to the international nature of the role
  • Available for extensive travel
  • Team-player, self-starter, solid problem-solving, communication and presentation skills
  • Action Oriented. "Can do" and "does do" attitude; authentically engaged with people and situations
  • Accountable. Commits to stretch goals and delivers; holds self and team to highest performance standards
  • Business English plus any other European languages
  • Expertise in membrane filtration technologies is a preference
