Who are we?
NX Filtration's mission is to make clean water available to everyone, while respecting the environment. We do this by developing and manufacturing advanced hollow fibre membranes, in our recently opened head office in Hengelo. Applied in the water treatment industry and the Food and Beverages sector, our membranes filter out the smallest contaminants from water such as nanoplastics, organic substances, dyes, medicine residues, bacteria and viruses. Our products make water treatment processes more effective and efficient, and provide opportunities to maximise water reuse. In short, NX has an important and relevant role to play in the water transition as water availability and quality are under pressure.
NX is growing rapidly and is therefore looking for an Intern to enable our Commercial organization to be successful in the market.
How can you contribute?
You will contribute to the delivery of the annual business results for one of our main product groups, Membranes within this product group are applied in water treatment installations servicing both the Municipal and Industrial market segments. To be successful we need to build a strong global pipeline of market opportunities in the replacement market of filtration membranes. You will analyse available data and relevant output needs to be made available via our CRM system to our global sales team in order for them to be able to act upon this data. You will also do research to enrich existing data. From this, potential leads need to be derived and in close alignment with the global sales team you will support the assessment of these potential leads by doing (online) research. You will help delivering management data to keep track on progress (e.g. number of leads identified, lead conversion) and propose actions to improve execution power.
Additionally you can be asked to support the creation and implementation of the product groups strategy, examples are developing and making available marketing material and facilitating the training of the full sales team.
Who are you?
- BSc in business/commercial field (preferably 3rd year, as the role requires some hands on work)
- Full time available (preferably start in Jan/Febr ’25)
- Command of the English language in both word and writing
- A team player with a customer focused approach
- Analytical skills
- Eager to take up significant responsibility
